Here are the dates for upcoming Jay Watch trainings. They are open to anyone who is interested in volunteering for the first time, and those who are experienced are invited to refresh your identification skills (especially for reading bands) and to meet the new folks and take them under your wing.

At the trainings we'll have a classroom section focusing on scrub-jay biology, scrub habitat, and how and why we survey for scrub-jays, followed by a field section where we'll practice how to survey and get a feel for what it will be like. All trainings start at 8 a.m. and end at noon.
