Title:	SWFSWG Land Mgt Field Trip

Description:	The Southwest Florida Scrub Working Group will hold a Land Management Field Trip on Thursday, July 23rd, from 10am-3pm.  This is a great opportunity for land managers and biologists to discuss strategies for dealing with land management challenges.  The theme for this trip is managing in the wildland-urban interface, though other topics (e.g., restoration techniques, public use, etc.) undoubtedly will be discussed.  The field trip will include Lemon Bay Preserve and Oscar Scherer State Park in Sarasota County.  We will begin at Lemon Bay Preserve and will then proceed to Oscar Scherer State Park. Please RSVP to Craig Faulhaber (Craig.Faulhaber at MyFWC.com) by July 17th so we can let our hosts know how many people to expect.  Please bring  a brown bag lunch for the trip.
