Mark your calendars! The Land Management Committee of the NE FL Scrub Working Group is having a field trip on May 6, 2009 from 9:00 to 12:00 noon. Orange County staff are currently working on a management plan for the Henson tract and would like land management opinions and ideas on what management the site needs. Like many lands we receive, this one has been impacted by prior land use. Beth Jackson, Environmental Program Supervisor for Orange County's Environmental Protection Division, is hosting the trip and will supply a series of historic and current aerials of the property to the participants.
