Emergency Action for On-Site Collection of Schaus Swallowtail Female Butterflies on Elliot and/or Adams Keys, Within Core of their Historical Range in
Biscayne National Park

In an effort to stave off extinction, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and its partners are conducting emergency collections of the “endangered” Schaus swallowtail butterfly in south Florida.
