I think you hit the nail on the head. It was my understanding that DMUs were not to be hunting zones. If DMUs are going to be hunting zones then I not sure we need more than 3 or 4. I say this because most areas of the state we are able to hunt the rut now due to the long deer season. I do think some areas need adjustments to better align the rut with gun season.
